DALLAS villain LARRY HAGMAN is urging Americans not to take their organs with them when they die - because he's living proof that donors' efforts keep others alive.
The actor underwent a liver transplant 14 years ago and admits that, apart from regular blood tests, life is good.
But he's disturbed by the growing numbers of people who die waiting for a vital organ.
He explains, "Eighteen people die every day waiting for an organ, and that's ridiculous. There's a cure for all these diseases if people just give up their organs and don't take them with them when they pass on."
